Developments from July to December 2020
This section provides video diaries and information sources on the continuing pandemic impact for the months of July 2020 through to December 2020.
The 104 days of closure from March to the beginning of July 2020 were covered in section 3 of this Covid section and information for that time-period was structured around four main areas:
3.a Business operations and survival
3.d Key announcements/developments and contextual information from UK and Scottish Government
Those four areas enable exploration of these themes in terms of how the business survived during the lockdown.
This section 5 charts the continuing impact of the pandemic after the 3.5 months of lockdown and still covers these four areas above, but this section 5 is structured around each month between the phased re-opening of the business (from 3rd July 2020 onwards) and the end of the calendar year 2020.
Below is a summary of what is covered in section 5 in each month and below that there is an interactive timeline charting the main developments from July to December 2020.
You can click on the months along the top of each section to jump to read what was happening in that month and to watch the video diaries.
